This course aims to prepare the learner with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills of a professional Unmanned Aircraft (UA) Pilot which are necessary to obtain the Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) Class A Rotorcraft (Limited to Multi-Rotor Up to 7kg).

The course will also equip the learners with additional skillsets in the ground preparation, operating UA with the latest technology, and handling UA in simulated indoor environment / GPS-deficient situations.  It enables the learner to gain in-depth understanding on the pilot competency to operate an UA safely.  Learner shall undergo intensive flying practice with multi-rotor up to 7kg

Relevance to Employment, Upskilling and Reskilling
UAPL is mandatory for any individual who is operating UA for commercial or business purpose.  In addition, obtaining an UAPL has the edge advantage for any candidate who intend to seek employment in related industry.

Pre-entry Requirements
1.   Be at least 16 years of age
2.   Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3 comparable to Secondary Education
3.   Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3 
comparable to Secondary Education
4.   Be able to use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3 
comparable to Secondary Education

Course Completion Requirements
Learner is required to meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for funding from Skillsfuture Singapore.
1.   To meet a minimum attendance of 75%; and 
2.   To successfully attain a Competent Grade (C) grading for both theory and practical assessment.
