WSQ AERIAL CINEMATOGRAPHY AND CREATIVE PRODUCTION

This 4-day workshop aims to prepare the learner with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to conduct aerial filming and 1editing.   


It enables the learner to gain in-depth understanding on the available camera settings to capture images and footage effectively.  Learner shall undergo practical shoots, and be able to demonstrate various aerial cinematography techniques at the end of the workshop.  In addition, industry experts shall be invited to share their valuable experience on post-editing processing respectively.

Relevance to Employment, Upskilling and Reskilling
The skills of conducting aerial filming is extremely important for any individual who is operating UA for commercial or business purpose.  In addition, having portfolios has the edge advantage for any individual who intend to seek a positive deal from prospective clients.

Module 6: Long Exposure Photography

Module 7:  Flight Planning/ Preparation (Portfolio)

Module 8: Emergency Procedures

Module 9: Post-Processing (Portfolio) by Mr Jerome Siew

Pre-entry Requirements
1.   Be at least 16 years of age
2.   Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3 comparable to Secondary Education
3.   Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3 
comparable to Secondary Education
4.   Be able to use numeracy skills equivalent to the Employability Skills System Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3 
comparable to Secondary Education

Course Completion Requirements
Learner is required to meet the following requirements in order to be eligible for funding from Skillsfuture Singapore.
1.   To meet a minimum attendance of 75%; and 
2.   To successfully attain a Competent Grade (C) grading for both theory and practical assessment.
